Greg has more than 25 years of combined human resources practitioner and consulting experience. He prides himself on creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients to provide continued support in developing solutions to meet their unique challenges now and in the future. Before joining Compdata Consulting, Greg spent 14 years as Sr. Consultant and Reward Practice Leader with Hay Group where he worked with organizations in a broad spectrum of industries, both public and private sector, locally and globally. Prior to that, he served in human resources and operations management positions with Hallmark Cards for 17 years. Greg has partnered extensively with organizations on a variety of total compensation projects, such as compensation philosophy development, implementation strategies and benefits analysis. He has an M.B.A. from Rockhurst University. Greg's areas of expertise include strategic guidance to clients in all areas of total rewards consulting. He employs a broad-based approach to compensation consulting to ensure the development of effective plans to meet clients’ specific needs. Greg is also a published author and speaker on various total rewards topics. His published works include "5 Steps to Revamp Your Compensation Plan," which made WorldatWork's 2012 Top 10 List for most accessed workspan articles.
Theresa currently serves as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development for Compdata Surveys & Consulting, the nation’s leading provider of compensation and benefits surveys and consulting services. With nearly twenty years in the compensation and benefits arena, she oversees the business development for the organization and works to bring Compdata’s consulting and survey solutions to the organizations needing them. Throughout her career, Theresa has been instrumental in the creation and evolution of Compdata’s product offerings and consulting services. She helps human resources professionals understand and interpret salary and benefits surveys and frequently speaks to HR groups on how to interpret data and integrate the analysis into their total rewards programs. Theresa lends her expertise to audiences at seminars for ASHHRA, SHRM, WorldatWork and state hospital associations. She also shares her knowledge with journalists from media outlets across the country, and has been published in WorldatWork’s workspan magazine on multiple occasions.
Dane has more than 20 years of project management and organizational leadership experience. He currently oversees all aspects of consulting operations for Compdata Consulting. Areas of total rewards expertise include developing job documentation, competitive pay and benefits analysis, designing pay programs to meet clients' organizational objectives, and pay administration. Prior to joining the consulting division, Dane held a leading role in survey operations with Compdata Surveys. He holds a Master’s degree, and he is a published author and speaker on various total rewards topics. His published works include "5 Steps to Revamp Your Compensation Plan," which made WorldatWork's 2012 Top 10 List for most accessed workspan articles.
With more than 18 years of human resources experience in a variety of areas including strategic management and organization change, Shawna has vast knowledge of compensation and benefits practices. She has 14 years of experience in compensation survey administration and consulting, including executive compensation, compensation structures, market reviews and custom surveys for a variety of industries, such as healthcare, manufacturing, government and defense contractors. Shawna has prior HR experience in the telecommunications and business services industries. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree and the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute.
Sarah has more than 17 years of experience in human resources with the majority of her focus in compensation and benefit practices. She oversees all aspects of survey operations for Compdata Surveys & Consulting, including the design, development, and publication of all national and custom surveys. Sarah also conducts trend and market analysis, industry reviews, and custom reporting. Sarah’s prior HR experience includes seven years with a leading Fortune 500 company in the telecommunications industry. She has an M.B.A. in HR Management.
As an Associate Consultant at Compdata Consulting, Dan is responsible for the technical analysis of projects from start to finish. With experience in both the private and public sectors, Dan adds unique insight to compensation and benefits projects. Since joining the company, he has led functions at Compdata in marketing and sales management. During this time, Dan gained a deep understanding of compensation data, our survey tools, and the compensation survey and benefits industry. The combination of these skills is the foundation Dan utilizes when consulting with clients on a wide range of topics. His experience includes job description writing, compensation and benefits analysis, client interaction, and overall support for a broad range of human resources projects. Prior to joining the Compdata team, Dan worked in athletics, addressing strategic activities related to human capital. Dan holds an MBA from Lindenwood University and a B.S. in Sport Management from Southeast Missouri State University.
Courtney provides technical analysis and support on client projects. She has experience working in Human Resources, making her a valuable contributor to compensation and benefits projects. She has worked within various functions at Compdata, including business development and consulting and is able to use these skills when consulting with clients. Her experience includes market pricing, compensation and benefits analysis, job description writing and coordination, and consulting support for a variety of human resources projects. Before joining Compdata, Courtney worked in Human Resources at a manufacturing company. She received her M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Elmhurst College and has a B.S. in Psychology from Iowa State University.
